    The City of Cleveland relaunched its 311 system for non-emergency city services so residents can report issues or submit service requests 24/7/365, whether online or by phone. We carefully refined the visual identity and built an integrated marketing campaign to help spread the word about the new system and illustrate when to call, from potholes and graffiti to bulk trash pickup and roadkill. To reach Clevelanders where they live and work, out-of-home advertising (in multiple languages!) was a major component of the initial launch.

    The American Library Association is the oldest and largest library association in the world. To convey how libraries are transforming to meet constituents’ needs in the digital age, we created a messaging platform and corresponding campaign tool kit. More than 20,000 libraries worldwide have joined the Libraries Transform campaign, and the tool kit has been downloaded more than 80,000 times.

    Cuyahoga County Public Library asked us to create a brand awareness campaign illustrating the many opportunities and resources available at the nation’s number one library system. We used a variety of personas to highlight services and opportunities Cuyahoga County residents might be surprised to find at their local library.

To challenge perceptions of public schools, we developed a bold campaign targeting both new and existing community members and showcasing the district’s inclusivity. We aimed to capture the energy and excitement of a diverse district while emphasizing the vital importance of public education.

    The City of Cleveland Heights, looking to attract and retain residents and businesses, conducted extensive brand research to determine the community’s brand attributes. Diversity, inclusiveness, and a commitment to the arts were the most cited among residents, along with walkable neighborhoods and historic homes. We guided the city in creating a brand promise celebrating these core strengths, crafted messaging that resonated with the community, and developed a visual identity that built on the value of existing brand assets.

    When the time came to celebrate the city’s centennial, we created a short-term identity, a microsite, and advertising that highlighted the rich history of Cleveland Heights.

    Greater Cleveland Partnership is working to unify Northeast Ohio’s business community. We created a visual identity and brand strategy clarifying GCP’s role as the voice of this community. We simplified and eliminated a number of sub-brands and developed messaging highlighting GCP’s ability to tackle opportunities other organizations do not have the bandwidth to address.
